Osaka

Mid-April 2016, I spent a few days in Osaka, the third largest city in Japan ! It is a very lively city, where you never get bored. I invite you to discover it with me !

This restaurant offers only skewers, salty and also sweet ! It’s a delight !

I made an octopus friend, and we went together ...

... to karaoke ! In Japan, we reserve a karaoke room adapted to the size of the group, in increments of 30 minutes. Everyone has to buy at least one drink, and then ... we can sing all night long !

Here I am on the banks of the Yodo-gawa river, which crosses the city.

Behind me you can see the Osaka Castle !

Here is the castle of Osaka, built at the end of the 16th century, largely destroyed in the 19th century, and rebuilt in 1928.

A nice little Japanese garden, near the castle !

Then I went to the Hard Rock Cafe of Osaka, it’s written on it ! Of course I brought back a nice T-shirt.

Here I am on the paw of a maneki-neko, which means "beckoning cat". It is often found in shops and restaurants, to attract customers if it raises the left paw, or fortune if it raises the right paw. Some raise both paws !
